Feeding

Feeding your little ones is key for them to grow and develop. Wallababy has got you covered weather you are breastfeeding, bottle feeding, of feeling solids. We offer organic and natural food and formula that will make your little ones full and happy… and if you need utensils and tools we’ve got you covered as well.

At Wallababy you can find formula, first foods, purees, baby cereal and a whole lot more. Weather your baby is eating solids or not, you can find a wide assortment of baby food. And you can find utensils, bottles, and other feeding tools.

Your baby’s first major feeding milestone is moving from milk and/or formula to solids. This is followed by four feeding stages for babies.

Stage 1: Typically a baby’s first taste of solids comes in the form of purees or cereals in stage one. Usually this is for babies 4-6 months old. Note that you should only introduce solids into your baby’s diet once they can sit up with some support and hold their head up without any help.

Stage 2: Once a baby is 8 to 10 months old, her tongue thrust reflex will change to allow her to pull food into her mouth and swallow effectively with minimal drooling and little food coming out of her mouth. At this point you know she is ready for solids with thicker consistency such as pureed protein and vegetables (just make sure they’re strained since your little one won’t have a lot of teeth yet).

Stage 3: If your baby can hold a spoon, grows more teeth and can swallow well, she is ready for stage 3 baby food. This is around the 10 month mark and characterized by soft chunks of food that the baby can chew and swallow.

Stage 4: At the end of your baby’s first year or beginning her second year, she will move to table food. At this point you can start feeding the baby some of the same food that the rest of the family is eating, or you can still buy commercially prepared toddler foods.

To feed your baby you can find a wide assortment of tools and utensils on Wallababy. You can find baby bottles, baby bottle nipples, baby bibs, sippy cups, spoons, and plates and more.
